Basic Function


  • Provide support for the eLearning department

Essential Functions


  • Provide technical support for eLearning students and faculty with the following related software programs and applications:
    • Blackboard
    • Elluminate
    • Microsoft Office
    • Presidium
    • Other web-based applications used in eLearning
  • Administer the college’s course management system (CMS) serving 3,000+ students and 150+ faculty
  • Supervise part-time hourly and work study staff
    • Interview, hire, supervise, train and discharge staff
  • Manage the eLearning support desk operations ensuring appropriate staffing and assistance for users.
  • Maintain statistics database
    • Create and run complex queries
    • Develop and generate complex reports for strategic planning & reporting.
  • Support the eLearning advisory committee
    • Maintain wiki
    • Coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Compile information for the eLearning section of the course schedule
  • Manage course development tracking and Personal Action Form generation
  • Maintain and update the eLearning website
  • Manage the WAOL scheduling system
  • Maintain eLearning application and testing server

Minimum Qualifications


  • Associate’s degree, IT technical certification or relevant experience
  • Microsoft Access Experience
  • Web design experience
